Teaching in South Korea

Countdown to Korea

I signed my contract and mailed everything back to obtain my visa. Now it’s time to start the preparations. Buying the few teaching supplies I’ll be taking with me. Looking for a new laptop. Taking stock of my wardrobe. And my favorite… packing.

I’ve updated the Ticker.  I’m not sure if it’s accurate, but my best guess is I’ll be starting two weeks later than first planned.

So, i’m guessing from your ticker that you have taught before? Good luck with everything, and if you need some activities, check out my ESL resources blog (it’s not much, but i like to think it’s helpful) eslresources.wordpress.com

    Thanks Judy.

    Yup. Came home last August.

And I *knew* I had seen an ESL resource blog by someone who posts in the forums.

    ::goes to take a look::

Hey, only two weeks and two days left… and you’re there! Woo-hoo… :-)

Now are you packing already? *grin*
And please tell us about your new lappy if you got one already… You know I wanna ‘see’ that big bold new crunching machine. :-D

    Packing? Packing???

    :)

You have to be kidding me. LOL.

    I’m *thinking* about packing.

I’m going laptop shopping one day next week. I really want a Mac Book, but alas, I can’t afford one.

Hehe, sure I was kidding… tomorrow I’ll be on a team meeting at Heidelberg (for two days & nights, woo-hoo… ;)) and I’m still “thinking”! :D

I hpe you’re gonna find a cool new lappy.
I know MacBooks are (way too) expensive, but I’m *drooling* over one as well…

    Nice… good luck with it!
I’m actually an ESL teacher in a Junior High School in Japan… so not too far away from you.
New to blogging myself, mine’s a sports-thoughts blog.
