Last evening the first Korean astronaut blasted off on board a Russian Soyuz space capsule. Yi-So-yeon is the first Korean astronaut and the fourth Asian woman to visit space.
Yi So-yeon is a doctoral student in S. Korea. She will be visiting the International Space Station for 10 days and conducing a number of experiments.
She’ll also be enjoying Kim-chi.
