Wordle~!

Wordle is pretty cool.  You can put your blog URL in and it spit out pretty stuff like this.  What I don’t like is that it’s all in a stupid java applet and you can just link to the image.  I can’t get Java and Linux to place nice, or I’d just take a screen cap.  But most of you can just click on the little picture to see it.  It’s fun to play with.

Geekiness Alert

I’m so excited.  I really need to update the OS on my desktop.  I’m running a very outdated version Fedora Linux.  However, more recent versions haven’t played nice.  I tried the Fedora 15 alpha a few weeks ago and was more than excited when it booted to a live desktop.

So, I present…  The countdown to the official release!

Why of Course…

You Are a Noun

You are very concerned with the material world and what is actual.

Facts interest you, and it’s likely that you keep up with the latest news.

You do well with ideas and concepts you can actually see. You are a very visual person.

You are the type who knows every person and place in town. You’re very well informed.

Quick Update

Lots going on lately.  Mostly I’ve been sick.  I’ve had little to no motivation to get pictures off my camera and up onto the blog.  Next week is a holiday, so I’ll have time work on the blog.

Jokbal

We, as a staff, went out to dinner last night.  This was my first experience with Jokbal (족발).  Simply put, it’s pig legs that are boiled in some spices and stuff, then deboned and sliced.  I was skeptical when my boss told me what we’d be eating.  I have to say, it was quite delicious.  Apparently the collegen in the meat/fat is good for your skin.  I think I’m still feeling the fat coursing through my cardiac arteries.  But hey, it was something new and I really enjoyed it.  I don’t think it’s anything I’d seek out on my own, but I had fun at dinner.

Not a picture of mine, but this is esentially what we ate.  There was kimchi (2 kinds) plus a couple of other salads (one with onions and cucumbers and one with daikon).  There were a couple dipping sauces and lettuce leaves to wrap the meat in.

Oh Yes!

Actually I don’t have to deal with too much LOL Speak.  I deal mostly with your common everyday errors.
